The objective was to create an abstract visual token of identification for employees moving into the new centralized office of Volksbank Berlin Brandenburg. For the first time, teams from the Berlin and Brandenburg departments came together in one shared location — a transition that needed to be reflected in the interior art concept.

The artwork visualizes the fusion of the two regions and their teams. Two separate aluminum panels, each shaped after one of the federal states, visually converge in a kaleidoscopic composition that celebrates both diversity and unity.

The epoxy resin sealing layer is not merely functional in protecting the artwork; it also enhances the piece by adding depth, shine, and reflection. This finish intensifies the kaleidoscopic effect, causing the colors to subtly shift with changing light and movement as viewers walk by.
