Spatial Branding Concept Fusing Origin and Progress
Adidas is a brand strongly associated with modern urban culture. In contrast, its headquarters in Herzogenaurach are located in a rural setting and deeply connected to the local workforce. For the headquarters in Herzogenaurach, the task was to develop a visual spatial branding concept that aligns with Adidas’ distinctive line-based visual language while acknowledging and celebrating local employees as a form of appreciation and incentive.
Our solution was an immersive supergraphic that merges rural and urban environments, drawing inspiration from both Herzogenaurach’s surrounding landscape and abstracted urban maps. The key challenge was to create a strong visual impact that reflects Adidas’ leadership in design, while remaining subtle enough to support a focused and productive working environment.
Spatial branding in offices not only needs to create a strong visual impact; it must also tell a compelling story while maintaining a focused working environment.
