Tape Art Around The World
A global initiative using tape as an accessible medium for cultural exchange and creative participation.
Tape is one of the few materials found in almost every household worldwide — an accessible, democratic medium that allows anyone to start creating instantly, without expensive tools, training, or barriers.
Driven by this idea, we initiated Tape Art Around The World: a long-term project dedicated to fostering individual creativity and agency through artistic expression by traveling, collaborating, and creating on site.
Each project is rooted in cultural exchange — through workshops, collaborative installations, and exhibitions that actively invite local communities to participate.
Working internationally has shown us that art transcends language, background, and geography. The familiarity and versatility of tape lower thresholds, spark curiosity, and open spaces for dialogue. Every location adds its own cultural layer, influencing both the work and the way people engage with it, while continuously enriching our artistic practice.
By bringing art closer to people, we aim to democratize art-making and encourage creative self-expression. Our workshops are intentionally inclusive, demonstrating that creativity does not depend on privilege or resources, but on openness and experimentation.
At its core, Tape Art Around The World is about connection — building bridges through a simple medium, fostering shared experiences, and contributing to a global, accessible culture of creativity.
To date, Tape Art Around The World has travelled to more than 40 countries.
The project Series Tape Art Around The World aimed at lowering
barriers to artistic expression while enabling cultural exchange.
